I created @iluvbrum in 2014. Purely out of my love for the city and wanting to beam a light on all the fabulous gems Birmingham has to offer. 

There are so many super talented photographers, that are so brilliantly capturing Brum, that I decided I wanted to create a hub! 12k followers later, over 250k uses of the accounts official hashtags. It's been a bigger success than I ever anticipated and a wonderful adventure. 

Due to the accounts success, reach, popularity and engagement it's opened doors to support and drive awareness for lots of initiatives in the city, something I'm incredibly proud of.    

I was fortunate enough through work to be invited on to the BBC podcast 'The Big Green Money Show' to discuss repairability and the part eSpares plays within it.

The episode was released in July '22 and what a great experience for me personally, albeit slightly nerve-racking talking to a Dragon!! But, I really enjoyed the light hearted discussion and plunging both Deborah Meaden and Felicity Hannah into the eSpares world.

To help keep me active! I signed up to be a football coach for my eldest sons side Bournville Warriors. I'm now approaching my 10th year being involved with the team and the club. I can singly handily state, it's the best thing I've ever done! 

To be able to support, develop and provide an activity for the children to be involved in is super rewarding.
